Klinefelter's Syndrome with Bipolar Disorder : A Case Report

Abstract

A male patients who had been confirmed to have Klinefelter's syndrome with the karyotype of 47, XXY by the chromosomal analysis had recurrent manic episode. He presented with irritability, hyperactivity, pressured speech, flight of ideas,
grandiosity
and insomnia, and the hormonal study revealed decreased testosterone and increased FSH level in the serum of the patient at readmission. The authors reported this case and reviewed related articles.
